The Silent Sway of Twisted Bark

Twisted melancholy
Swaying in the moonlight
Slowly whispers sweet nothings
Into the dainty ear of a
Fervid woman
You must see us blasphemous bastards
Of a marriage that was bonded by sin

Jealous, knowing somewhere
Along the eons of time
You were beat out in the
Race for sentience by
A species with suicidal tendencies
Breathing hypocrisy
In their lying lungs

Until you can perform an all out conquest
You silently dance to the music
Carried on the edges of a
Winter wind
Patiently ready to replace the reigning king
To take your rightful throne beside
Your eternal queen
