Light touches his eyes
For the first time in years
He climbs from his tomb
Dazed from a deep sleep
He temporally forgets who he is
Just a void where his memories should be
He smells food in the distance
He slowly rises
Shirtless and deranged looking
He’s pure instinct
He hears a tick-tock
Coming from his trouser pocket
A silver pocket watch
Reminds him of a past
That used to be
Tamed now
His wild-side subdued by
He looks down at his
Disheveled self
And thinks
This wont do
He ignores his hunger
Searching for a more
Civilized appearance
