Midnight: Part-5 (The End)

Panicked, Chad just started running as fast as he could through the woods. He kept running until, as if coming from all directions, he heard a voice saying, “Where are you Trent? I need your help! You’re the one who got us into this mess! Get back here you little shit!”
Chad started running again. He thought his only hope was to reach someone who could help. He had been locked away in that guys’ house for days. There was no telling how long the girl had been there, she looked nearly dead when David shot her.
Chad heard the four-wheeler start up and it sounded like it was getting closer. He knew he couldn’t out run the four-wheeler, so he hid behind two boulders. When chad knelt down, he noticed the dirt looked like a freshly dug grave. Chad wondered how many people this man has killed.
Right behind Chad, there was a voice that whispered,”I found you.”
Chad didn’t even look back, he just ran. As he was running he felt a sharp pain in his chest. Chad looked down and seen an arrow sticking out through his skin, he collapsed to the ground.
David was standing over Chad with a gun this time. He pointed the gun to Chads head. Chad closed his eyes, preparing to meet death. David started laughing but was interrupted by a loud ringing noise. He turned around, trying to find the source but there was none.
David fell to his knees and cried out in pain.
Chad was bleeding to death and was completely unaware of what was going on.
Everything froze and the ghost of Sarah appeared. Not the Sarah that was killed just a few hours ago, but the original Sarah that was killed when David was in high school.
She spoke into Davids ear and said, “Enough!” and with the single word, David was no more!
